NIA held information courses, attracting immigrants to enjoy exciting & educational project
Ministry of the Interior National Immigration Agency (NIA) is strongly promoting the “New Immigrants Digital Application Information Project” that provides free information courses for new immigrants. Participants praised that the game includes using digital devices, Taiwan elements & cultures, and various services provided by the project. The game was an exciting and educational one. Individuals aged 18 or older urged to get booster dose as soon as possible starting today
The CECC reported that according to the resolutions of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices at the Ministry of Health and Welfare, individuals aged 18 or older who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine for 12 weeks (84 days) to get a booster dose for better protection. Pregnant migrant workers receive psychological & life support and stay at temporary home provided by The Garden of Hope Foundation!
Starting from January 1, consultation on laws and rights, psychological support, life support, and temporary home are provided to pregnant migrant workers, hoping to reduce the cases of undocumented migrant workers. Additional Automatic 30-Day Extensions Announced for Foreigners who have Legally Stayed for 180 Days or More
Given the continued severity of the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, NIA has decided to provide an additional automatic extension to foreigners who entered Taiwan before or on MAR/21/2020, and have not overstayed their allowed duration of stay (including their initial visa and all previous extensions).
