According to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC), individuals aged 18 or older who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine for 12 weeks (84 days) are able to get a booster dose for better protection. Many people were trying hard to make an appointment for vaccination, therefore Chuang Jen-hsiang (莊人祥), the spokesperson for the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC), announced that the “COVID-19 vaccination registration platform” will be available again from January 15.

Previously, the “COVID-19 vaccination registration platform” platform was closed due to the decline in demand for vaccination. People who want to get vaccinated need to make an appointment via medical institutions. However, due to the COVID-19 cluster uncovered at the Taoyuan International Airport, there is a sharp increase in the demand for vaccination. This is therefore the “COVID-19 vaccination registration platform” will resume its services from January 15.
