Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area (參山國家風景區), Tourism Bureau collaborates with the Friendship in Taiwan (FIT) tourism organization and entrusts a 3-day Tribal culture experience in Taiwan to the Chinese Tourism Management Association (中華觀光管理學會). Foreign students from 10 countries including France, Paraguay, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, India and Japan were invited to “Li Shan (梨山)” and enjoy the culture trip.

The itinerary included a visit to Xin Jia Yang (新佳陽), Li Shan, and Huan Shan (環山), and the Valley of Lights Festival (山谷燈光節). Jia Yang community Development Association arranged activities such as indigenous archery, weaving, sawing wood, hunter trails and other ceremony activities. Foreign students would have the opportunities to get to know the cultures of Atayal and the meanings that rainbow bridge possesses.

In addition, Friendship in Taiwan (FIT) is a non-profit tourism organization initiated by Lai Shu Wei (賴淑薇) - a new immigrant from Malaysia who got married in Taiwan. The organization aims to plan and arrange trips for foreign students studying in Taiwan. It is hoped that foreign students would become tourism ambassadors for Taiwan in the future, and let the world see Taiwan through community and word-of-mouth marketing.
