According to The Star, Raif, the youngest son of Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, has received his first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination.

Khairy revealed that all three of his sons have been immunised against Covid-19 after Raif was vaccinated at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur on February 13.

Behind the camera, Khairy can be heard joking with the doctor and questioning if the syringe is filled with air rather than the vaccine.

Raif keeps composed as the doctor asks him to count from one to ten, promising that she will finish the injection before he can finish counting.

"Okay, let's count to ten. Ready, set, go! "Nori is heard chanting bismillah, says Khairy (a phrase to mention God before beginning any action or speech). When his father asks, "Raif, how do you feel?" he appears to take it all in stride and responds, "Good!"

"He's relieved that he's safe from Covid-19. Fill out the #PICKids registration form for your children "On Sunday, he announced it on Twitter.

The Covid-19 Immunization Programme for Children (PICKids) began earlier this month in the country for children aged five to eleven. 135,478 children had gotten their first dosage of the vaccination as of Sunday.
