A: (I) After switching to a new ID number, fines issued before the ID number change must still be paid using the old ID number. However, for accuracy in vehicle and driver records, violators should update their ID number at the supervisory authority.

(III) Required documents for renewal: Residence certificate, current driver’s license, and a recent (within two years) color ID photo with a plain background. Contact the highway supervision authority.
