According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Sunshine Cruz's romantic engagement with businessman and public servant Macky Mathay has had Angelina Cruz's full backing.
They've been together for five years, so we've gotten close to him," the 20-year-old singer-actress stated in a recent virtual press conference for her current single, "Ayoko Lang," released by Universal Records.

When asked what she admires about Macky, Angelina responded she admires how well he looks after her mother. "I adore the fact that he looks after her. "It's wonderful for her, and I'm overjoyed for them," she remarked.

Sunshine is still one of the most attractive and sought-after actresses in the industry, despite her age. Angelina Jolie isn't surprised. "Many people still admire and find my mum appealing. But I'm not surprised because she still looks youthful and radiant. She's a stunning woman. 'Yan ang goal ko!' she exclaimed with a giggle.
Terms that are favorable
Angelina stated she and her siblings are "on good terms with her father, Cesar Montano," when asked about their relationship. Cesar and Sunshine married in the year 2000 and divorced in 2013. In 2018, their divorce was finalized. Samantha and Chesca are their other daughters.

"He asked us out last December because he wanted to celebrate our younger sister, Chesca's, birthday. And that's exactly what we did," Angelina explained. "We were able to catch up during a dinner celebration."
