According to [Philippine News Agency], the number of individuals affected by the effects of Typhoon Jolina has reached 140,444.
In its update on Saturday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said this is equivalent to 37,022 families from 891 villages in Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Soccsksargen, and the National Capital Region.
Of this number, 5,341 families or 19,778 individuals are being aided in 412 evacuation centers while the rest are taking shelter with their relatives and friends.
The agency said one was confirmed dead, along with 16 injured and seven missing.
Meanwhile, reports of 14 deaths, four injured and three missing are still undergoing validation.
A total of 6,575 houses were damaged by the typhoon in Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, Western Visayas, and Eastern Visayas.
Out of this figure, 6,259 were partially damaged while 316 were totally damaged.

According to [Philippine News Agency], the damage caused by "Jolina" to agriculture and infrastructure is so far placed at PHP190.9 million and PHP30.7 million, respectively.
