"Miaoli Coastal Land Art Festival," the greatest summer event in Miaoli this year took place on July 8th. 30 installation art pieces that have been painstakingly created by Taiwanese and international artists will be on display at this year's Land Art Festival, which is separated into two exhibition sites, Tongxiao and Yuanli. A weekend market will also be hosted every Saturday and Sunday throughout the exhibition's almost two-month run, showcasing and selling regional arts, crafts, and small-farmer specialties.

The Miaoli Coastal Land Art Festival's "About the Sea" theme this year was chosen by curator Chiu Tai-yang (邱泰洋). Along with Taiwanese artists, this year's festival also included Liliya Pobornikova from Bulgaria, Christos Lanitis from Cyprus, and Xavier Gonzalez from France. Additionally, the artists want their creations to convey their love and respect for the sea.
