From September 28 to October 15, the Zhengbin Fishing Port will serve as the official opening venue for the "Between Ocean and Light" Keelung Ciao 2023. 10 groups of domestic and international artists are invited to participate in the event, which encourages attendees to stroll around Zhengbin Fishing Port and admire the picturesque waterfront.

Keelung, a port city on Taiwan's northernmost point, has mountains on three sides and is situated by the sea. Its seascape is diverse. In addition to providing food, transportation, and opportunities for play and leisure activities like observing the water, the sea also opens up new possibilities. The theme "Between Ocean and Light" set by Keelung Ciao this year aims to examine the interaction between marine life and the ocean ecosystem.

The exhibition urges people to treat both biodiversity and rich ocean with respect via its three sub-themes, "Underwater Fantasy—Eternal Blue," "Surface of the Sea—Encountering the Light of Hope," and "Crossing the Interface—A Dialogue between the Blue and the People."

On the square in front of the Zhengbin Visitor Center during the consecutive holidays from October 7 to October 10, there will also be a market in addition to the artwork.
