At the end of May, British singer Robin Dale, who was honored with the Detroit Music Lifetime Achievement Award and inducted into the Michigan Rock Legends Hall of Fame, will present a "A Heritage of Love" gratitude concert at the Grand Hotel in an effort to share his love for Taiwan through music.

Taiwan is close to Robin Dale. His father moved him to Taiwan when he was a kid so that he could work in free clinics. He once went to the Taipei American School, which gave him the chance to join a band. Despite not having inherited his father's professional medical training, Robin Dale founded a band with his pals when he was a child. The group quickly rose to prominence in Michigan, and Robin Dale was even chosen as the mythical figurehead of Michigan rock throughout the country.

Later, Robin Dale spent more than 20 years in business. He was also the CEO of a publicly traded corporation and a prosperous businessman. When Robin Dale traveled back to Taiwan to see his family, he observed that his father, a physician in Taiwan for 30 years, frequently traveled to the highlands to provide medical care for the indigenous people. He didn't understand until later that helping others is the definition of happiness. In order to relive the joy that he felt as a youngster practicing medicine with his father in Taiwan, Robin Dale took the decision to bring his daughter to Taiwan and stayed for 20 years.

Perhaps Taiwanese don't know much about Robin Dale and are unaware that he has resided in Taiwan for close to 30 years despite having earned a Music Lifetime Achievement Award in the United States. To everyone's amazement, "A Heritage of Love" became an anti-epidemic song that soothed the spirit, breaking the previous record of nearly 20 million hits in a single day. In one swift motion, Robin Dale rose to fame as an influencer musician on the Internet.

Robin Dale once remarked, "Music is the best way for me to have a large-scale impact. Music has a unique power. Although a business can produce money, it has little overall effect. You can distribute good music. I made the decision to forgo business and began creating tunes. Back to Taiwan, the place where I spent a significant amount of time as a youngster.
