National Immigration Agency Hsinchu City Service Center has a long history of supporting new immigrant development and helping them integrate into the community. The Service Center organized free Chinese classes and invited He Yu-li (賀豫驪), a teacher of Chinese with 20 years of expertise, to lead the classes.

Teacher He (賀豫驪), 77, retired after 32 years of service in the field of education. After retiring, Teacher He discovered that language issues frequently prevented many new immigrants of the neighborhood where they resided from communicating with their families. As a result, she started teaching free Chinese courses to the new immigrants using her house as a classroom.

Teacher He (賀豫驪) not only teaches Chinese to new immigrants but has also developed into a valuable resource for them in daily life. When it comes to matters involving the mother-in-law with daughter-in-law, and parent-child connection, they will turn to her for guidance. Later, Teacher He established "Hsinchu City New Immigrant Foreign Spouse Care Association" in order to provide thorough services.

NIA Hsinchu City Service Center praised Teacher He Yu-li (賀豫驪) for her more than 20 years of service to the new immigrants.
