Celebrate the 2021 “Migrants Day”, let’s meet at the Victory Star Village in Pingtung on December 12

This year, the 2021 “Migrants Day” is relocated to Victory Star Village (屏東勝利星村) in Pingtung. Organized jointly by the Ministry of the Interior National Immigration Agency (NIA) & Pingtung County Government, the event will be held on December 12 from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Participants can enjoy the retro vibes of Victory Star Village, as well as "multicultural performances", the "exotic delicacies Broadway" which offers appetizing food, the "creative market" that provides DIY activities for parents and children, the free "exotic costumes trying", and "Lucky draws" which gives away high-end home appliances and store gift coupons. The public is welcome to join and don’t miss the food, fun activities, and exquisite gifts!

Tran Ngoc Thuy (陳玉水), who edited the comparison chart of Taiwan-Vietnam important legal terms & has dedicated to the information inequity, will be publicly praised during the event. In addition, Yang Shih Tsui Heng (陽氏萃恒), who is awarded the “56th Golden Bell Awards, Lifestyle Programs Host” will be publicly commended together with 8 other new immigrants and migrant workers.

In addition, the event will be unveiled by the huatzudance (潮州華姿舞蹈團) that includes a few new immigrants. Followed by the master-level German and Russian new immigrants performing "Flute and String Quartet". Moreover, there are Japanese students playing the Taiko, Mexican JARABE dance, Vietnamese fan dance, Thai dulcimer, The Miao and Tibetan dance music, Indonesian martial arts & traditional disc dance, and specially arranged "Prince of Egypt" to show traditional Middle Eastern dances.

Besides, the "creative market" also provides DIY activities for parents and children and the free "exotic costumes trying" for all participants to have a deeper understanding of multiculturalism. Event-goers can have a taste of the special flavors of Japan, France, Austria, Colombia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia.
