"Sun Moon Lake Swimming Carnival," Taiwan's most emblematic national sport, drew 317 international swimmers and 195 swimmers with disabilities from 33 nations this year, with a total of more than 24,000 swimmers joining up.

The 41st "Sun Moon Lake Swimming Carnival" was held. Also quite experienced is the organizer. The Red Cross Society further offered on-site assistance along with the fire station, police station, health bureau, and rescue association of the Nantou County Government. On standby at the location are many hospitals and search and rescue teams. Swimming caps and floats must adhere to tight regulations this year, and there have been fewer accidents when swimmers were cut by floats.

The race is around 3,000 meters long overall. Along the route, there are several rest areas and energy refueling stations that may give participating swimmers a break and replace their supplies of water and food.

The Sun Moon Lake Swimming Carnival, which is favored by both local and international swimmers, has drawn more than 24,000 participants this year, according to Nantou County Mayor Hsu Shu-hua. To encourage sports for all Taiwanese, the county government also works in conjunction with the Ministry of Education's Sport Administration.

The Sun Moon Lake Swimming Carnival will become a world-class sporting event under the sports strategy, which will help Nantou grow its sports tourist sector and open up new commercial prospects.
