When Wang Mei-Mei first arrived in Taiwan, not only did she have to adapt to the new environment and new culture, but also had to face the pressure of doing business. In the early days of their business, the couple set up a small stall on the side of the road to sell "steamed cakes." When Wang Mei-Mei recalls these past events, it makes her cry and she said, "In fact, doing business in the market is very hard. We have to transfer to different markets every day, and the equipment and supplies have to be moved every day. It is really very difficult." At first, because of the difference in the language accent, she often could not communicate with the clients. However, Wang Mei-Mei did not ask her husband for help. Instead, she chose to use her body language to gradually develop an unspoken understanding with the clients and complete the transaction.

Wang Mei-Mei shared that in addition to selling "steamed cakes," the stall also sold towels made in Taiwan, and the business was very good. However, the stable business did not last long. Her husband suffered a serious illness. Wang Mei-Mei opened a restaurant downstairs where they live, to be able to take care of her husband while running a business. She also revealed that the most difficult part of the restaurant business is maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. The main key to success is to "treat customers as family members", so that the customers who come to their restaurant will feel at home. After all, the relationship between people is the most important thing. For Wang Mei-Mei, even though the restaurant is no longer open, their old customers have become their friends and they still keep in touch with each other.

In addition, Wang Mei-Mei also loves to travel. She likes to travel independently. She is good with arranging her own itinerary. After all, traveling is not just about fun, but also to understand the local conditions, customs, culture and eating habits of each place, so every time she goes abroad, she travels for at least 1 to 3 months so she can relax. In addition, Wang Mei-Mei also talked about her concept of family. Some people think of raising children for the purpose of being looked after when one gets old, and even hope that three generations should be in the same house, but she believes that after children grow up, they should be given personal space. Even if parents can give children life advice, it cannot reach 100%. Therefore, let the children grow up independently to face life.

Finally, Wang Mei-Mei also advised elderly friends to be in a good mood every day, not to think of negative thoughts such as being old and lonely, and to never be restricted by your own age. When you are young, you may not be able to pursue your dreams because you are totally dedicated to your family. Now, take advantage of good health, and let yourself experience a different kind of life.
