The end of the semester is just around the corner, and this also means that students will be having their 2022 winter break soon. In addition to the Lunar New Year activities during the winter vacation, various student camps that provide exciting learning experiences will be available during the long vacation as well.

Tainan Art Museum (臺南市美術館) launched the "Art & Science Experience Camp - Cultural Relics Conservation (美術科學體驗營-文物保護小尖兵)", inviting students from the 5th grade of elementary school to the 1st grade of junior high school to participate in the activity and have a deeper understanding of cultural protection.

Tainan Art Museum is divided into Hall 1 and Hall 2. Hall 1 is a historical site, and Hall 2 is designed by Japanese architects. The old and new halls often provide a variety of art exhibitions and activities, including a special exhibition by Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara (奈良美智) which will last until February 13.

The "Art & Science Experience Camp - Cultural Relics Conservation" will be available from January 25 to January 26, 10:00 to 17:00. The main learning objectives of the camp include observing artworks, understanding scientific testing & cleaning of cultural relics.

Through the activities of the camp, the young students are guided to understand the expertise and knowledge of cultural relic restoration. For more information, please refer to the Facebook fan page of Tainan Art Museum.
