However, to integrate into Taiwan’s life, family and culture, the memories of their native motherland have diminished. Each Taiwanese dish on dining table is constantly reminding them of the fact that taste of hometown has gone. A

A new resident from Vietnam, Qiao Shi Huang Ying, developed the " Three Vietnamese Sauces" with her passion for cooking. She hopes to bring people closer with hometown flavors, and also obtain support and sponsorship through fund-raising projects.

From Long An (隆安) Province, Vietnam, Qiao Shi Huang Ying has been in Taiwan for 19 years and with a daughter. After facing family and financial difficulties, she developed three sauces including "Yuejia Salted Lemon", "Yuefeng Pickled Vegetables", and "Taro Tofu double-flavored sauce". These sauces have been recognized and supported by the New Taipei City Government. She even shares cuisines with hundreds of new residents, making this land more colorful.

The Viettaipeople stated that food represents the memory and the cultural identity. The fund-raising plan will enable new resident mothers to have more income from and in the hope to take care of more new resident families and children.
