Taipei’s Third Wave of Vaccination Starts on June 20, 2021. Seniors over 75 years old may register for vaccination appointments.
The Taipei City Government (台北市正府) recently announced the launch of the third wave of Covid-19 vaccination registration. Elderly persons over 75 years old and aboriginal people over 65 years old who live in Taipei City, can use the "Covid-19 Vaccination Reservation System" to make an appointment for vaccination, regardless of whether they have household registration in Taipei City or not.

The Taipei City Government said that the third wave of vaccination is open to elderly people over 75 years old (born before December 31, 1946) and aboriginal people over 65 years old who live in Taipei City. They can make their appointments regardless of whether they have household registration in Taipei City or not. Online appointment schedule is from 14:00 to 20:00 on June 20, and from 8:00 am to 20:00 pm on June 21. Vaccinations will be available in 34 hospitals, 12 medical clinics, and 208 community clinics on June 22 and 23.

For seniors who were not able to make an appointment, the Taipei City Government’s Department of Civil Affairs will issue a notice on June 23, 2021. Photo/Retrieved from China Times
In addition, for elderly people without an appointment, the Department of Civil Affairs (台北市政府民正局) will issue a notice on June 23, and will open 12 hospitals in Taipei City for the vaccinations on June 24.
