[Taiwan Immigrants’ Global News Network] The Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival in New Taipei City is a well-known international event. The Jingtong Sky Lantern Hall, the Pingxi Railway Station stairs, and the entrance to the Shifen Scenic Area all have specially set up illumination art installations as part of this year's Sky Lantern Festival.

There will be fun events as part of the "2023 Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival" on February 5th at Shifen Square and February 11th at Pingxi Junior High School. It is advised that people use shuttle buses and more public transportation to get there.
Three art installations were also set up for the Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival this year which are the highlights of this Sky Lantern Festival. The installations will start to light up every night from 5:00 to 10:00 from now until February 28.

During the event, the New Taipei City Government team plans several traffic, crowd control, and epidemic prevention measures. The event coordinator appeals to attendees to use shuttle buses and other forms of public transit more frequently in order to have fun and get home safely.
