National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior contracted DSIGroup Co., Ltd. (典通股份有限公司) to carry out the "2023 Survey of New Immigrants' Living Needs" from June to October this year in order to comprehend the living circumstances and service requirements of the new immigrants in Taiwan. The interviewees are urged by the immigration department to participate with the inquiry and interview. During the on-site inspections, the interviewers will be wearing identity cards, carrying official documentation, and adhering to the pertinent laws of the Personal Data Protection Act. The data were simply gathered for statistical analysis. The government will use the findings of future study as a guide for promoting new immigrant service initiatives.

NIA states that since 2003, a survey on the living needs of new immigrants has been done every five years. So far, four surveys have been carried out. Through scientific sampling, a total of 10,000 questionnaires were gathered for this study. The survey's findings are anticipated to be released in the following year. The questionnaire's contents covered the fundamental data of new immigrants, employment status, family member status, life adaptation, counseling needs, social participation, elderly care arrangements, and Taiwan's general environment.

(Taiwan) Website and the IFI Network, in order to eliminate worries when new immigrants' families get interviews.
