National Immigration Agency issues license incentives to encourage new immigrants to improve their employability

The New Immigrants and Their Children's Development and Scholarship (Incentive) Program is managed by the National Immigration Agency to encourage new immigrants to gain professional skills and improve their employability. Anyone who has taken the technical skill exam administered by the Ministry of Labor within the last three years and who holds an A, B, C, or single-level ROC technical Certificate from the Ministry of Labor is eligible to apply for incentives. A total of 705 new immigrants were granted during the 111-school year.

She made the decision to apply for the second-level technical certificate of employment services in order to increase her employability. She studied through all the necessary rules and professional expertise as she prepared for the exam and finally succeeded in getting the certificate. She wants to apply what she has learned to assist more migrant workers and new immigrants in Taiwan.

A friend also informed Ms. Chen (陳秀榮), a new immigrant from China, that there is an exam for computer software applications, and she is motivated to pass it in order to receive a certificate. She also combines the fundamental information from the computer class for new immigrants, consistently worked through the questions, and eventually received the Class B computer software application certificate, which enabled her to find a more fulfilling position when she returned to the workforce.

This year, the top five categories of the NIA New Immigrants and Their Children's Development and Scholarship (Incentive) Program were in the fields of beauty, Chinese cuisine preparation, waitressing, baking, and childcare. By getting a certificate, new immigrants can develop new prospects, according to the NIA.
