According to the press release from Taiwan Railways, the "Youyou Pay" app developed by EasyCard Corporation enables passengers to ride with a simple beep on their smartphones. Users of Android phones with NFC capabilities and version 6.0 or higher can download the Youyou Pay app, update to version 3.0.98 starting midnight on July 1, and activate the Beep Ride feature. This allows them to tap through Taiwan Railways station gates, save time on ticketing, and conveniently top up fares online via their smartphones.
