National Immigration Agency (New Taipei City Service Center) collaborated with Jin-Shan Police Station to assist foreign fishermen in downloading the app ‘LINE@移點通’ at Yeh-Liu Fishing Harbor. This would enable migrant fishermen to receive new information about epidemic prevention in their native languages such as Indonesian, Vietnamese, and English.
At the same time, to prevent the African swine fever, foreign fishermen were urged not to ‘bring meat products into the country from abroad’, not to ‘purchase meat products online from abroad’, and not to ‘visit livestock farms while being overseas’. If you found meat from a questionable place of origin, please call the hotline to report and protect Taiwanese pigs together.
