According to [Worldakkam], the Tourism Bureau is said to have started in partnership with Natural Lawson, a convenience store chain in Japan where people can buy Taiwanese tea products during the Olympics from July 23 to August 8.

People can watch sporting events at home, eat lunch boxes, and cheer for the Taiwanese national team and athletes from other countries, “said Cheng Yi, director of the Japan office.

The Tourism Bureau pointed out that Natural Lawson is a convenience store chain with more than 140 stores in Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, and Kanagawa prefectures.

“We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Japan for providing the COVID-19 vaccine to Taiwan, which faced more serious pandemic problems. The theme of our campaign is to participate in the Olympics. We aim to support all athletes and personnel and show that our country can work together to defeat the pandemic. “ said the Tourism Bureau.

Director of the Tourism Bureau Cheng I-p'ing 鄭憶萍 said, “Because the pandemic prevented spectators from attending the Olympics, we decided to work with Rinpaiko and KKDay Japan to offer 500” Go, Taiwan “lunch boxes for sale at the Olympics.

According to [Worldakkam], in addition to pork rice, the lunch box serves other Taiwanese food and drinks such as large fried chicken katsuretsu, fried pork chops, Taiwanese sausages, HeySong Sarsa, and apple soda.
