Taiwan’s Digital COVID-19 Certificate, also known as Vaccination Passport, can be applied online now
Taiwan's Digital COVID-19 Certificate will be available for use in the country starting at 8 a.m. on January 21, 2022. This certificate has three major features: being available for download for people vaccinated in the country, compliance with the verification program of the EU's certificate system used in 60 countries and territories and being a carrier of an app with a name-based registration system. China, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macau are classified as high-risk zones of African swine fever
Recently, the African swine fever (ASF) virus was again detected in parcels sent from abroad. Council of Agriculture (CAO) Minister Chen Chi-chung (陳吉仲), pointed out that the investigation will focus on packages sent from China, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, and Thailand. National Immigration Agency (NIA) also reminds the public, immigrants, and migrant workers not to order pork & meat products from abroad to Taiwan. Childbirth Subsidies and Parenting Support are increased in the Taipei City
To increase the birth rate and encourage young families to settle in Taipei City, the mayor's office revised the childbirth subsidy guidelines that went into effect last September. The 2022 Taiwan Lantern Festival officially debuts in Kaohsiung, the public is reminded to abide by the epidemic prevention regulations
The 2022 Taiwan Lantern Festival (台灣燈會) will be held in Kaohsiung City and the Kaohsiung City Government has organized a "Local Lantern District" (地方燈區) activity which will start on February 1st, and the nationwide "Central Lantern District" (中央燈區) exhibition will start on February 15th and run until February 28th.
