“The Greatest String Collections-Salon Concert” will be held at CHIMEI Museum (奇美博物館) on February 19, 2022. Peerless violins from the birthplaces in Italy - “Cremona” and “Brescia”, will compete with one another on the same stage with their special & unique timbres. Besides, there will be a tea salon served to create a luxurious feast.

Zhong Dai Ting (鍾岱廷), the senior violin consultant of CHIMEI Museum, will be sharing the stories and styles of violins manufactured in the two cities.
For the performance, the well-known violinists and cellist from the “One Song Orchestra (灣聲樂團)” - Liang Qian Wen (梁茜雯), Huang Yu Feng (黃裕峯), and Li Jian Hua (李建樺) are invited to perform together with a violist from the “Taipei Symphony Orchestra” - Wang Rui Gong (王瑞共).
For the songs selected, there are “C. Monteverdi: “Pur ti miro,” from L'incoronazione di Poppea”, “J. S. Bach: Violin Sonata No. 1 in G Minor, BWV 1001: Ⅰ. Adagio”, “A. Marcello: Oboe Concerto in D Minor: Ⅱ. Adagio”, “L. Boccherini: Duet for 2 Violins No. 1 in G Major, Op. 5: I. Allegro”, “J. Pachelbel: Canon in D Major, P. 37”, and “A. Borodin: String Quartet No. 2 in D Major: Ⅲ. Notturno”, etc. The audience will be able to experience the purest beauty & timbre of string instruments.
During the intermission, grand afternoon tea from a famous “92 Wine Food” will be served, providing top catering services for the audience and VIPs. There are a total of eight exquisite afternoon tea snacks, allowing the audience to enjoy an opulent afternoon tea break besides enjoying the music.
