Bilingual education is encouraged in New Taipei City schools at all levels. The National Taiwan University-sponsored "International Learning Companion Program (ICL)" included 15 schools. Sub-English video communication encouraged students from the United Kingdom, Japan, Indonesia, and other nations to meet with Taiwanese students at Ansi Junior High School, Jian-shan Junior High School, and Zhonghu Junior High School in Sanxia and Yingge. Establish a solid diplomatic platform.

The National Taiwan University project team was thanked by the director of Education Department of New Taipei City Government for their assistance in enabling foreign students and local elementary and middle school students to regularly communicate via video chat in order to improve students' English application skills and broaden their perspectives on the world.

According to the principal of Ansi Junior High School, through the regular exchange program, kids may improve their English communication skills and educate their international classmates about local cultures of Gorges and Yingge.

The students amde new friends from the UK, Japan, Indonesia, and other countries through exchanges during the exchange activities of the International Learning Companion Program (ICL). They also expanded their perspective on the world.
