Habagat to bring monsoon rains over Ilocos Region, Zambales, Bataan

According to [GMA News], the southwest monsoon or habagat will bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over many parts of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan will experience monsoon rains brought about by the southwest monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered to widespread moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Abra, Benguet, and Occidental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms also due to the southwest monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Tropical Storm In-Fa (formerly Fabian) is located 1,175 kilometers north of extreme northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour near the center with gustiness up to 125 kph and moving west-northwestward at 10 kph.

The second cyclone is Tropical Storm Nepartak, which is located 2,550 kilometers northeast of extreme northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph and gustiness up to 90 kph, moving west-southwestward at 25 kph.

According to [GMA News], Luzon and Visayas wind speeds are moderate to strong moving southwestward while coastal waters will be moderate to strong. Wind speed forecast in Mindanao is light to moderate moving southwestward while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
