The Ministry of Culture launched Young Adult Culture Vouchers (文化成年禮金) of NT$1,200 for young people between the ages of 18 and 21, and it was formally launched on June 6. The goal of the initiative is to encourage young people to engage more in arts and culture activities and to consume products from the arts and culture sectors. The Culture Points website has also been formally launched. [Taiwan Immigrants’ Global News Network] sorts out the notifications for downloading and using the APP for everyone with regard to the requirements for obtaining it and how to use it.

The eligibility to receive requires the nationality of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or qualified foreigners, including foreigners who have obtained permanent residence permits, mainland Chinese nationals, residents of Hong Kong and Macao, and foreigners who are the spouses of Taiwanese nationals and have obtained residence permits. The date of birth ranges from September 1, 2001 to December 31, 2005.

The Ministry of Culture has created the Cultural Currency APP which allows users to receive the cultural points right away and use it until June 30, 2024. After downloading the APP, entering your mobile phone number, password, and email to complete the registration process. Then, click "Culture Vouchers," enter your name, ID card number, health insurance card number, date of birth, and residential address for verification.

The website's customer service or email can be used to request a paper QRcode from young people who do not have mobile phones or use APPs. After the application is approved, they can log in to the appointed webpage and print out the paper QRcode for use in various cooperative arts and cultural activities.

The Young Adult Culture Vouchers also cannot be used as change, sold, traded for cash, turned into a ticket, then returned to avoid paying a handling charge. It can only be given to one individual once. Remind young people who received it to keep in mind that it must be used up by June 30, 2024, otherwise it will lose its validity.
