Donations have poured in for her care, and her mother, Wan Wai Kin, said the goal was met within a day when contacted."I've already informed Perak MCA Public Services and Complaints Bureau chief Low Guo Nan that we've got sufficient funds for my daughter's treatment."

"We are quite grateful and would like to convey our gratitude to those who have generously donated," Wan, 51, added.
Low convened a news conference on Thursday to raise awareness about Teh's condition and to ask for donations to help pay for her treatment.

Low later claimed that he had received thousands of texts and that his phone had been ringing nonstop since then.
