The Chiayi Forestry Bureau (嘉義林區管理處) has launched a practical "Alipedia" (森遊阿里山) App animated guide pack. The functions include traffic, weather, guides, real-time flower conditions and sunrise positions on the mountain. The App is quite diverse, and tourists can decide how they want to conveniently tour Alishan. With the "Alipedia" instructional video, the App will show the weather conditions on the mountain and the location of the sunrise in Alishan. Visitors can set their location in advance when chasing the sunrise. Use the "360-degree real-scene tour of the trails" to make every view complete without blind spots, just like when you are in the forest.

The Chiayi Forestry Bureau pointed out that the "Alipedia” has both the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area (阿里山森林遊樂區) navigation and App guide. After arriving at the recreation area, the App can provide personalized itineraries using functions like integrated pre-departure planning, navigation, and guides. In case of emergencies, the "quick guide" can immediately help with information, AED, fire extinguisher, and even the distance to the nearest toilet.
