A booth for the "Expanded Overstayers Voluntary Departure Program" was set up by the NIA Taipei City Service Center and the Taipei Specialized Corps. at the Eid al-Fitr Festival event held by the Taipei City Government in Daan Forest Park on April 23. The program was immediately publicized by the captain (蔡培源) of the Taipei Specialized Corps, and the director (蘇慧雯) of the Taipei City Service Center, who also celebrated with Muslims from all over the world by distributing "green lucky bags" that symbolize vitality and blessings.
On the Eid al-Fitr Festival event, National Immigration Agency employed a quiz game to propaganda the "Expanded Overstayers Voluntary Departure Program," the deadline of which will be at the end of June. Foreign overstayers in Taiwan are encouraged to use the one-stop service at the Taipei City Service Center to self-report and complete the departure processes.

The first Indonesian migrant worker to get a green lucky bag exclaimed enthusiastically because "green" in Islam refers to “prosperity” and signifies prosperity and blessings. Receiving a "green lucky bag" for the first time in Taiwan was an unusual experience. The migrant worker was quite appreciative of the organizer's creativity and content to take part in events like Eid al-Fitr in Taiwan which reminds her of festivities in hometown.
