2023 World Hakka Expo brings together the worldwide Hakka network and highlight the varied Hakka cultures of the world from 8/11 to 10/15 by combining the attributes of Taoyuan's smart city with cutting-edge technology and installation art.

The two Main Exhibition Areas, "World Exhibition Hall" and "Taiwan Exhibition Hall," will present artwork as well as organize unique marketplaces. The biggest Naked-eye 3D light sculpture exhibition in Taiwan will be shown every night at the "Taiwan Exhibition Hall" among them. Four major display sections are planned for the "World Exhibition Hall," which is near to the Taoyuan Airport MRT A19 station. They will demonstrate how the Hakka culture has evolved since the Hakka people left their hometown for other places, assimilated, and expanded globally. Exhibits from around the world featuring different Hakka characteristics. The World Hakka Hall of Fame also honors the historical achievements made by Hakka celebrities to societal advancement.

Additionally, 8 secondary pavilions and 17 satellite exhibition areas are planned for the 2023 World Hakka Expo. The Satellite Exhibition Areas have BUTOKUDEN, Li Teng-Fang Mansion, Taoyuan City Hakka Cultural Park, etc., turn the entire Taoyuan City into an open-air HHakka Museum so that everyone can fully experience the charm of Hakka culture. The Secondary Pavilions include Taoyuan Children's ART Center (Qingpu), Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center, 1895 War Memorial Park, Conch Plaza, and others.

Additionally, the 2023 World Hakka Expo advises visitors to use public transit. Four Taoyuan MRT World Hakka Expo Commemorative One-Day Tickets that cost up to NT$250 were also introduced by the Taoyuan Airport MRT so that the general public may purchase them and take the painted Taoyuan Airport MRT train to the World Hakka Expo.
