According to Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC), there are 68 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Of those 68 cases, 3 are domestic and 65 are imported. The CECC announced no death today.

Regarding the domestic cases, they are 2 men and a woman, aged between around 30 years old and around 60 years old.
Regarding the 65 new imported cases, they are 30 men and 33 women, aged between under 5 to around 70 years old. 8 of them are from United States and Indonesia each, 6 from the Philippines, 4 from India and Vietnam each, 3 from Hong Kong, 2 from Malaysia, and 1 from Canada, Pakistan, Argentina, Germany, Malta, Ethiopia, Honduras, Belgium, Mongolia, France, Brazil, Palau, and United Kingdom each. The remaining 17 cases arrived are being investigated. They arrived between January 13, 2022, to February 24, 2022.

The CECC reported that a total of 6,255,140 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 6,234,508. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 20,304 cases. Of the 20,304 confirmed cases, 4,846 are imported; 15,404 are domestic; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 3 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has unknown sources of infection.
The command center once again appeals to the public that one should keep hands clean, wear a mask, reduce unnecessary travel, activities, or gatherings, avoid entering and leaving crowded places, or areas with high risk of infection transmission, and take the initiative to follow various regulations and stop the potential spread of the highly contagious variant within the community
