National Taiwan University Hospital provides multilingual health instruction for migrant workers

According to the 4wayvoice, the information provided by the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control pointed out that the vaccines available in Taiwan now, including Oxford–AstraZeneca (AZ) COVID-19 vaccine, Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer-BioNTech (BNT) COVID-19 vaccine, and Medigen vaccine are free of pork cells.

Therefore, individuals who are still unvaccinated due to the worries about the ingredients used to manufacture vaccines, The personnel of New Southbound Health Center of National Taiwan University Hospital said, “people who have religious concerns can get vaccinated with peace of mind.” Furthermore, multilingual picture cards were designed to enable more migrant workers to understand the information easily.

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) has repeatedly urged people to get vaccinated as soon as possible to protect themselves their loved ones. To allow more foreigners to make appointments for vaccination more conveniently, the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor offers a multilingual instruction of using the "COVID-19 vaccination registration platform" for public reference and use.

If you experience discomfort after vaccination, including having a fever for more than 48 hours, severe allergic reactions such as breathing difficulties, shortness of breath, dizziness, general rash, etc., please seek medical advice as soon as possible and inform the doctor who provides vaccination services to you.

Lastly, to further strengthen health-related protective measures, the National Taiwan University Hospital was commissioned by the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control to set up a New Southbound Health Center providing medical consultation and transfer services.
