The epidemic alert level 2 continues to this day, and many activities are continuously held under the regulations of the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC, 中央流行疫情指揮中心). In addition to being allowed to go out, government agencies hold life adaptation counseling classes to help new immigrants learn more about Taiwan.

New Taipei City's Hsin Chuang Household Registration Office (新北市新莊戶政事務所) and Taishan, Wugu and Linkou Household Registration Offices jointly organized the "2021 New Immigrants' Life Adaptation Counseling Class" (新住民生活適應輔導班). The classes will be held in the Hsin Chuang Household Registration Office in New Taipei City from September 27 to 30.

The "2021 New Immigrants' Life Adaptation Counseling Class" is completely free. This course covers the process of naturalization, household registration, gender equality and basic rights, employment interview skills, language learning, baby care, consumers rights protection, etc. They will also learn about Taiwan’s customs and taboos, and avoid embarrassing misunderstandings caused by cultural barriers.

This course also provides the number of hours required for the naturalization of foreign nationals. If they are new immigrants, they may sign up. They need to attach a copy of their residence permit or their passport, and a 2-inch photo.
