Taiwan Power Company posted a reminder on its official Facebook page on how to clean air conditioners: switch off the air conditioners' main power source before cleaning to prevent electric shock. Next, clean the air conditioner's panel, exterior, casing, and air outlet blades. After that, clean the air conditioner's inner frame and filter, and let it air dry in the sun. Lastly, restart the power, switch to the air supply mode, and allow the air conditioner to operate for one to two hours in order to remove any residual moisture before turning it off.
Regarding how to clean electric fans, Taiwan Power Company said on its official Facebook page that you should take off the fan blades, use dust removal paper to remove any dust, and then carefully rinse the blades with clean water. After that, thoroughly clean the fan blades with a sponge dipped in detergent to get rid of all the dust and oil that was adhered by air transfer. Reassemble the fan and store it in a box or sizable plastic bag when it has dried.

When cleaning the water-cooling fan, experts advise removing the dust and honeycomb filters and washing them in clean water first. After that, empty and clean the sewage in the water storage tank and use a dry towel to wipe away any dust from the air outlet blades. After cleaning, place a dust cover over it.
