[Taiwan Immigrants’ Global News Network] The flower festival of Shan-Tseng-Chi Park in Beitou (北投三層崎花海), the Shilin Official Residence tulip show, and the Taipei Rose Garden make up the “2023 Flowers in Taipei” (台北春季花展). From February 9th to February 19th, a romantic tulip exhibition will be took place at the Shilin Official Residence, featuring 130,000 tulips, allowing visitors to enjoy in sea of flowers. Additionally, there is a decoration with a fantastical theme, free entrance to the flower show, fantastic performances on the weekends, and a lottery for and taking pictures and checking in.

The mayor of Taipei City (蔣萬安), also came to appreciate the flowers at the opening of the flower festival. The tulips festival, according to the major, took place annually at Shilin Official Residence. Since Taiwan is a subtropical country, and tulips are temperate plants, people tend to travel to high latitude countries to see them. The city government, as a result, specially selects tulips from the Netherlands and Japan. The public now may take in Taiwan's picturesque tulip scenery without having to travel abroad.

Numerous other events, such as "Love Photos and Happiness," is also scheduled to take place during the flower festival. One will get a chance of winning prizes for posting a picture of the couple to the "Shilin Official Residence Tourist" Facebook page during the bloom season and tag each other.

The Tulip Exhibition included a flower exhibition as well as a variety of weekend international performances. The show also collaborated with 50 specialty shops in the Shilin, Tianmu, and Beitou shopping areas, as well as the Grand Hotel, to offer great discounts with events of flower season.
