Taipei City - Taiwan Lantern Festival in Taipei
The main lantern from the Taiwan Lantern Festival made a 23-year comeback to Taipei this year. It was also the first major international occasion following Taiwan's pandemic was over. The exhibition area comprises the East District Commercial District, Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Taipei City Hall, Xinyi Commercial District to Xinyi Assembly Hall, among other high-rise buildings and city alleys.

New Taipei City – New Taipei City Lantern Festival
With a total of 8 themed lighting zones and hourly light performances in the main lighting area, New Taipei City Lantern Festival this year is themed on an amusement park. A section with a Japanese theme has been specifically planned by the International Lighting District. The Nebuta lanterns of the JR East Hotel, nine different Japanese counties, and the highest peak in Hokkaido, "Asahidake," are all included in the artwork.

This year's Taoyuan Lantern Festival is based on the theme of an amusement park with 14-meter-high main lantern "FUTU Future Rabbit.” The Lantern Festival also incorporates the local culture of Taoyuan, such as Hakka, railways, and tea.

The first Central Park Taichung Lantern Festival will take place there in 2023. The "Happy Taichung Happy Rabbit," a 10-meter-tall lantern, is the major one on the water. To offer a varied lantern festival experience, it is integrated with 6 significant lighting locations, the main lantern show, and the lantern market.

Nantou County - 2023 Nantou Lantern Festival:
The Nantou Lantern Festival and "Kanahei's Little Animals" will collaborate in 2023 to produce Taiwan's cutest animated lantern show. There will be 12 Kanahei small animal gigantic balloon lights, a SUP vertical paddle experience, a 7-meter-high giant themed light, and more. 400 drones perform a water show and fireworks in the evening.
