  • Ministry of Labor launches high-risk special inspections for working outdoors in hot summer

Due to the summer's extreme heat, the Ministry of Labor wrote to labor inspection organizations and pertinent groups to recommend that high temperature dangers be addressed as part of occupational disaster prevention efforts. The maximum fine may be NT$ 150,000 if the contractor is not warned of the risk of high temperature risks or is not persuaded to implement prevention.

  • "The Distance between Taiwanese and Foreigners," allowing public to learn more about new immigrants from various viewpoints

Brilliant Time bookshop will host a series of talks on "The Distance between Taiwanese and Foreigners" (台灣人與外國人的距離) from August 26 to September 22 as part of the Ministry of Culture's initiative to help Taiwan's mainstream population better comprehend foreigners in Taiwan. In all 12 talks, Taiwanese who have engaged with foreigners for a long time were also invited to give their thoughts in addition to encouraging new immigrants from a variety of nations to discuss their life experiences.

  • The sale of updated Taipei-New Taipei-Keelung-Taoyuan Sightseeing Exploring Pass will begin on August 1st

Taoyuan City Department of Tourism unites Keelung, Taipei, and New Taipei City launched the updated Taipei-New Taipei-Keelung-Taoyuan Sightseeing Exploring Pass (北北基桃景點暢遊卡), which will be on sale on August 1.

Tourists who hold the pass are able to visit four counties, 30 well-known sites,

and obtain a thorough grasp of the customs and culture of different counties and cities.
