This year, the 22nd Comic Exhibition will grow to co-host with the Taipei 23' Movie & Toys Convention and Taiwan Gamers Convention International 2023, bringing together up to 1,200 displays and 125 manufacturers at Exhibition Hall 1 at the World Trade Center. The event, which lasted five days, drew a total of 640,000 people, the most in previous years, and is said to have opened about NT$250 million worth of commercial potential.

Video games, e-sports, entertainment, education, toys, models, music, and cultural and creative IP are all included in the 2023 Comic Exhibition. The video game and e-sports industries are also integrating with comics, and some film and television firms will even adapt animation works, in addition to the involvement of YouTubers from Japan and Taiwan.

At the opening of the Comic Exhibition at the World Trade Center, Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an (蔣萬安) made a speech. The development of Taiwan's unique intellectual property and locally produced comics, according to the Minister of Culture (史哲), is given top priority by the Ministry of Culture.
