New vaccination facilities in Beimen will place the vaccination site in Taipei Qsquare

According to the Taipei City Government, residents who recently used the 1922 Vaccine Reservation Platform may discover a new downtown Taipei option: MRT Beimen Station Mid-size Vaccination Station. Beginning February 21, the new site will be operational.

The new vaccination facility, which is located on the B1 floor of MRT Beimen Station, will provide BNT vaccines (79,540 injections) on February 21 and 22, Medigen vaccine (13,994 shots) on February 23, and Moderna vaccine (203,238 shots) on February 24 and 25.

According to the Department of Health, a total of 296,772 booster injection slots will be available via the vaccine reservation platform for the 23rd session. Reservations for vaccinations administered between February 21 and 27 will be accepted from 10 a.m. on February 16 until noon on February 18. Individuals who are eligible (18 years or older, have had two shots, and it has been 12 weeks since their last shot) are advised to schedule their vaccinations before the deadline.

Meanwhile, on February 18, the vaccination center at Taipei Qsquare will close its doors after completing all vaccinations. The Qsquare facility has vaccinated a total of 3,295 people since it opened on January 20.

The local administration urges persons who plan to have their shot to bring their vaccination record card (Yellow card) as well as their NHI card, and to arrive at the designated hour. Those who have not yet received their first or second dose should schedule an appointment with a hospital or clinic that offers COVID-19 vaccination. Those who received their injections before February 28 will receive a NT$200 voucher.
