Sanmin Home Economics & Commerce Vocational High School has achieved another milestone in vocational education by standing out in the first national "Skills Power 100" competition, winning honors among 429 entries nationwide. The school was selected in all four major categories: Teacher Community, Industry-Academia Collaboration, Competition/Certification, and Bilingual Vocational Education, showcasing its outstanding performance in promoting vocational education."Skills Power 100" is the mission of the Vocational Education Section of New Taipei City. In the future, it will continue to deepen the promotion of vocational education through industry-government-academia collaboration, advancing vocational education, and cultivating more internationally competitive talents for Taiwan. Under the leadership of Principal Wang Xue'e, Sanmin Home Economics & Commerce Vocational High School has been actively promoting vocational education over the past two years. With projects such as "Vocational AI Hero!", "Sanmin Home Economics & Commerce - Culinary Management Curriculum Planning", "Strive for Excellence - Clothing Professional Competition Talent Program", and "Hotel Management Practical Work & Bilingual Vocational Education: Enhancing International Competitiveness in Hospitality", the school successfully ranked in the TOP 100 in all four categories. 

Cultivating Cross-Disciplinary Experts with Soft and Hard Skills

The "Vocational AI Hero!" project demonstrates how Sanmin Home Economics & Commerce integrates AI technology into teaching and learning, helping to apply technology in subject integration and developing future workplace competitiveness. By combining various vocational teachers, forming autonomous curriculum enhancement, and collaborative observation groups, the school continuously deepens the digital teaching capabilities of vocational teachers, cultivating students' digital technology competitiveness. 

The "Sanmin Home Economics & Commerce - Culinary Management Curriculum Planning" project emphasizes the integration of culinary management courses with industry practices through workplace experience provided by the Ministry of Education, co-teaching with industry experts, and internships, achieving alignment between education and training, reducing gaps, and enhancing students' practical skills. 

The "Strive for Excellence - Clothing Professional Competition Talent Program" project showcases how Sanmin Home Economics & Commerce cultivates outstanding national competitors, participates in international skills competitions, and wins numerous awards, helping students establish a sense of professional honor and workplace ethics, becoming a model of vocational education. 

The "Hotel Management Practical Work & Bilingual Vocational Education: Enhancing International Competitiveness in Hospitality" project highlights Sanmin Home Economics & Commerce's efforts and achievements in promoting bilingual vocational education. By establishing an international education group, applying for foreign teachers, enhancing workplace English programs, and promoting international exchange and cooperation, the school successfully enhances students' international competitiveness.
