According to the Yahoo! Finance, Taiwan Excellence: Sharing is Caring, the inaugural worldwide philanthropy initiative established by Taiwan's Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), Ministry of Economic Affairs, revealed the top three winning proposals after thorough assessment of more than 700 submissions from 61 countries.

Top three winners include Solar Energy Solutions for Mori Communities from the New Zealand, Educating and Empowering the Community through Mobile Kart from the Philippines, and One-day Medical Tour and Same-day Denture Delivery - Mobile Digital Denture Clinic & Oral Health Service Project from Taiwan.
During an awards event on January 26, 2022, Cynthia Kiang, Director General of BOFT, virtually awarded certificates to the winners. The winning concepts will be sponsored and executed in the chosen region/country to help local communities cultivate compassion and good acts.

Director General Kiang was overjoyed to see the campaign's success and such enthusiastic involvement in its first year.
"We could sense that there is love and compassion all throughout the world," Kiang remarked. "At the same time, the Taiwan Excellence Award winners will continue to put up every effort to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through this Campaign."
