A recent launch of a "multi-lingual interpreter real-person interpretation service," a "multi-national interpreter financial knowledge training and fraud prevention publicity lecture," and simple wording services by an insurance company aim to remove communication barriers for new immigrants seeking financial and insurance information. The clear, multilingual "Reminder of Important Rights and Interests of Policyholders" edition aims to close the knowledge gap between new immigrants and the financial system.

More than 70% of Taiwanese people have insufficient knowledge of financial goods and services, according to the most recent "Taiwan Financial Life Survey" from the Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance, and financial knowledge education must be reinforced. More challenges will arise for new immigrants whose first language is not Chinese. To enable new immigrant clients to speak in their native tongue and fully understand their rights and interests, the life insurance firm collaborated with the "New Residents Family Development Association" to offer translation services in nine languages.

The insurance business also conducted a "Financial Insurance Knowledge Training and Fraud Prevention Promotion Lecture" for interpreters to assist them advance their financial and insurance knowledge considering the professional character of financial goods.

Additionally, the "Policyholder Important Rights Reminder" covering insurance, payment, claims, and other precautions has been released in nine languages, including Vietnamese, Malay, Thai, Indonesian, Burmese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, and English.
