The extra trips this time, according to Taiwan High Speed Rail, are mostly concentrated during times when demand for passenger travel is high. These times include Friday afternoon and evening (2 trips to the south and 2 trips to the north, totaling 4 trips), Saturday morning to afternoon (2 trips to the south and 1 trip to the north, totaling 3 trips), and Sunday noon (1 trip to the north), with up to 8 additional trips every weekend.
According to the pre-sale schedule, customers can buy tickets one after the other starting at 0:00 a.m. on October 21, according to Taiwan High Speed Rail. The "T-EX Press" App, the online ticket ordering service, the High Speed Rail-affiliated convenience stores, or manual ticket windows and vending machines may all be used by passengers to purchase tickets outside of the stations.
