In response to the new coronavirus variant Omicron, there is an urgent need to increase the vaccination rate in Taiwan. The Ministry of the Interior National Immigration Agency (NIA) has been promoting “Carefree Covid-19 Vaccination Program” that adopts four principles including “won’t be reported”, “won’t be seized”, “won’t be charged for any fee”, and “won’t be banned”.

NIA (Taitung County Service Center) & Taitung County Brigade collaborated with “Taitung County Foreign Spouses Association (社團法人臺東縣外籍配偶協會)” to encourage foreign nationals, including undocumented migrant workers and overstayers to receive free vaccination to get vaccinated soon.

The public is urged to share this information with foreign friends you know, and encourage them to make an appointment via NIA or “Taitung County Foreign Spouses Association” or get vaccinated at the District Public Health Center in Taitung County.
