The need for cleaners, housekeeping employees, in-field service staff, and culinary staff in the hospitality business has expanded as a result of the industry's post-epidemic recovery. Nine talent recruiting events were organized in July and August by Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor Kaohsiung-Pingtung-Penghu-Taitung Regional Branch to assist working professionals in entering unemployed industries in Kaohsiung, Pingtung, Penghu, and Taitung.

According to director of the Kaohsiung-Pingtung-Penghu-Taitung Regional Branch, the Ministry of Labor has created a unique employment incentive plan to encourage people to engage in sectors of the economy that need employment. After stabilizing their careers, competent job seekers can get NT$6,000 per month if they are employed in specific openings through state employment service organizations. Specific rural regions will receive an additional NT$3,000 in addition to the NT$10,000 monthly subsidy that will be granted to targets including middle-aged, elderly, and women who are working for the second time.

The initial wave of project openings at the moment comprises several renowned hotels looking to hire housekeepers, public area cleaners, etc. Unemployed persons who are interested might take advantage of the chance to engage in talent recruiting initiatives.
