The Ming Xie Guang Lin B&B in Wanqiao, Zhuqi Township, Chiayi County, officially opened this July after years of meticulous preparation. Chiayi City Mayor Huang Min-Hui attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony to extend her heartfelt blessings to this countryside B&B, which combines art exhibitions with public welfare.
Mayor Huang Min-Hui stated that "Ming Xie Guang Lin" is a long-awaited B&B, and she is very pleased to witness its grand opening. The B&B boasts a tranquil and beautiful environment, showcasing the heartfelt efforts of its owner, Hsieh Ming-Dian. The name "Ming Xie" invites everyone to enjoy Chiayi's fine tea and coffee, reflecting the warm hospitality of Chiayi people.

The owner, Hsieh Ming-Dian, is a respected professional in the broadcasting field who bravely stepped out of his comfort zone to pursue his passion for managing the B&B. His dedication and hard work are truly admirable. During the preparation period, he obtained certifications in Western cuisine, horticulture, landscape gardening, and tree surgery, continually learning and improving his skills.
Moreover, the B&B is surrounded by a variety of fruit trees such as guava, coffee, peach, and mango, all grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. It also features a beekeeping area and a rich insect ecosystem, including fireflies at night, allowing guests to enjoy a natural, toxin-free rural experience.
"Ming Xie Guang Lin" has specially designed an art exhibition space, allowing guests to appreciate excellent artworks while enjoying tea and coffee in the lounge. Hsieh Ming-Dian, a veteran media professional in Chiayi, has interviewed many well-known artists.
The opening exhibition features the famous Chiayi splashed glaze ceramic artist Tsai Yung-Wu, showcasing his landscape works created through high-temperature transformations of glaze and minerals. These works have been widely praised and loved by art enthusiasts and collectors.
Another invited artist is Chiayi's outstanding corporate artist Ho Tsung-Lieh, who creates unique oil paintings using knives, characterized by a distinctive style. Additionally, stone carving artist Hou Lien-Chin, who has been recognized in the National Art Exhibition for three consecutive years, also exhibits his highly acclaimed works.
