2021 "High Mountain & Tea City of Chiayi" was held from December 25, 2021 to January 2, 2022, at the Jin Lan Branch of the Farmers' Association located in Zhongpu Township, Chiayi County.
This event is participated by 4 local tea art associations, including the Meishan Township Tea Art Promotion Association of Chiayi County (嘉義縣梅山鄉茶藝推廣協會), New Immigrants Tea Art Association of Chiayi County (嘉義縣新住民茶藝協會), Tea Culture Association of Chiayi County (嘉義縣茶文化協進會), and Taiwan Jingwu Workshop (臺灣京武工房), providing the indoor tea tasting experience together.

To increase the public’s knowledge and understanding of tea, six exhibition halls with tea as the main theme were shown at the event. Moreover, the nine-day event brought 6 Asian special tea performances and 17 tea culture & art performances to the audiences, allowing the public to experience the fusion of tea culture and art.

The Culture and Tourism Bureau, Chiayi County stated that members of the New Immigrants Tea Art Association of Chiayi County come from all over the world, including immigrants from China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries. Besides selling tea at booths, they also sell delicacies from their hometowns such as French bread, Vietnamese noodles, and other snacks. It is hoped that the event will promote Taiwan's local tea industry, as well as introduce hometown cuisine to people in Taiwan.
