[Taiwan New Immigrants’ Global News Network] Starting on the second day of this month, China Airlines has launched 5 direct flights weekly to Da Nang, Vietnam. Following the opening of Cebu in the Philippines and Chiang Mai in Thailand, China Airlines has added yet another new destination to its Southeast Asian network.

Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, China Airlines offers nonstop flights between Taipei and Da Nang. The one-way journey takes only around three hours. Da Nang, as known as "Oriental Hawaii”, a well-known coastal city with a wealth of tourism opportunities. Additionally, it is close to tourist hotspots including Hoi An Ancient Town, Complex of Hué Monuments, and Ba Na Hills. Both domestic and foreign visitors find it to be highly appealing.

Since the introduction of the Taipei-Da Nang route, China Airlines has completely covered northern, central, and southern Vietnam destinations in addition to the daily flights to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, increasing the accessibility of the Vietnamese market and catering to travelers' needs. Travelers going to and from Taiwan and Vietnam may find it more accommodating and satisfying.

China Airlines is also upbeat about the tourism and business sectors in Southeast Asia. It improves the services of routes leaving from central and southern Taiwan in addition to flights leaving from Taipei. For instance, the frequency of the Kaohsiung-Manila route has been increased to three times a week; there is a direct flight on Thursdays; and this month, the Kaohsiung-Bangkok route resumed, reducing the amount of time it takes for people traveling from the central and southern regions to the north.
